Fielding Estate Winery is very much a family business. Ken and Marg are now retired, Curtis and his wife Heidi continue to run the daily operations at the winery along with their amazing team. The Fielding’s hope that one day their children and grandchildren will have the same passion for farming and winemaking and continue the family wine business! (Adding 10 more lines of text or highlights about Heidi/ about Curtis) The winery opened in 2005, established by Ken and Marg Fielding, their son, Curtis and wife Heidi. The architecture of the winery is influenced by the Fielding’s northern Ontario roots in the Haliburton Highlands. The contemporary Canadiana architecture is inspired by elements only be found in nature – wood, stone and sunlight. With the natural finishes and earthy tones, the design allows all the facets of nature to become one. A perfect escape to sit on the lodge deck and enjoy the wines and the view. The relaxed Wine Lodge style is the perfect home to the award winning small lot wines crafted here in Niagara. Known for our crisp whites, Pinot Gris, Rieslings and Chardonnay’s, we offer a stunning portfolio of big, bold reds and easy drinking blends created to be enjoyed often, pairing with your lifestyle. In 2019, we launched Fielding Craft Cider and continue to surprise and delight cider drinkers with limited edition releases, featuring Niagara’s farm fresh fruits.
The Vineyards
Fielding Estate Winery own and operate three vineyards in Beamsville, the Fielding Estate vineyard (on-site), Tufford Road vineyard (located at Tufford Road and Greenlane Road, 5 minutes away from the winery towards the lake) and a recently acquired Twelve Point Farm vineyard. We also purchase from other local growers whose vines range in age all the way up to 30 years old.
Vineyard Profiles
The Fielding Estate Vineyard has 12 acres planted in the sub-appellation known as the Beamsville Bench.
The Tufford Road Vineyard has 36 acres of vines planted in the sub-appellation, Lincoln Lakeshore.
