Hi everyone, thanks for joining me online! I know this is a crazy busy world we live in and everyone deserves to take a little time and do what you enjoy. Grab a good book & a glass of wine, get creative in the kitchen with a glass of wine, help your children with online schooling and pour some wine into a coffee mug.
As a working mom, with 2 boys, a dog and a husband who runs a winery and is a farmer, making life easier and more enjoyable is important. My philosophy is simple, love what you do and who you do it with.
I enjoy a good black tie gala, outdoor music festival or throwing on a Leaf’s jersey and playing road hockey with the boys. I am known for my scoring ability. I also love my girls golf nights and going for a hike with our boys and dog.
During COVID when everyone was trying to bake sourdough bread, I started to experiment with more plant based recipes, and reading with interest about sustainability, health and wellness. Not every recipe is a success but everyone has fun taking part in the prep. I hope you enjoy some of the recipes from local chefs and some family faves that are shared below. PSA! The winery will soon be offering a plant based alternative as well as our traditional cheese plate.
